與 Google 同屬 Alphabet 旗下的 DeepMind 為專門開發人工智能技術的機構，雖然人工智能技術成爲科技界新寵，但他們連年虧蝕，至今已經欠下母公司 Alphebet 10 億英鎊。
DeepMind 在 2018 年全年總收入雖然達到 1.028 萬英鎊，比 2017 年提升接近一倍，不過同時開支亦大幅增加，其中例如人力資源開支就同時增加一倍至 3.98 億英鎊，已經是連續第二年倍增。龐大的支出導致 DeepMind 全年虧損增加至 4.702 億英鎊，對母公司 Alphabet 的債務因此增加到 10.4 億英鎊。
DeepMind 在 2014 年由 Google 以 4 億英鎊收購，目前唯一顧客目前就是其母公司 Alphabet，而 Google 已經確定會整合 DeepMind Health 的開發團隊，涉及超過 100 名員工，不過目前仍然未正式實行。
